Madrid, December 14, 2005 - Telvent (NASDAQ TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, participated in the 3rd China International Exhibition on Technology and Equipment of Meteorology Science and Hydrology which was held at Shanghai Exhibition Centre from October 26 to 28 in Shanghai (China).

The exhibition is cosponsored by China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and Chinese Meteorological Society (CMS), and supported by WMO and HMEI. It is an event aimed at promoting information exchange and cooperation between producers and users of meteorological and hydrological equipment & solutions, and at internationalization and specialization, attracting nearly 100 well-known corporations and manufacturers on display, which are from China, America, Germany, France, Britain, Spain, Finland, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, and Hong Kong etc.

Telvent’s booth was located in a strategic place in the Shanghai Exposition Center. Marketing Information was available on Telvent’s portfolio of Hydrometeorology solutions and products; including Hydrometeorology Networks, Flood Warning Systems, Watershed Management Optimization, and Hydrological Modeling Services in addition to Almos Meteorology solutions and products including Metconsole; integrated Meteorological Systems for Airports and National Weather Networks: AWOS, ATIS/VOLMET, LLWAS, Revolver (transmissometer), SADIS/WAFS (Pilot Briefing Systems) and Meteorological Switching Systems.

During the exhibition various activities were held such as The China International Conference on Meteorological Science 2005, where Telvent participated with a speech on Technology applied to the field of Meteorology.

This exhibition was a platform that allowed Telvent to interact with governmental agencies such as the Chinese Meteorological Society, Chinese meteorological instruments and weather radar manufacturers and other foreign companies specializing in Hydrology and Meteorology products and solutions.

Interaction allowed participants to assess the complexity of the Chinese market in terms of customs, language and business relationships and most importantly it allowed the identification of opportunities for collaboration, and achieving synergies with manufacturers and business perspectives
