Madrid, October 18, 2005 - Telvent (NASDAQ: TLVT), the Global RealTime IT Company, recently participated in the ExpoComm 2005 International Fair of Telecommunications that was held in the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, from September 27 to 30.

More than 170 leading telecommunications companies participated in this, the twelfth edition of the event. The attendance by both large national and international corporations and small companies has made this event the perfect place for the convergence of new technologies and businesses, with the end result being a large exhibition of telecommunications and information technologies.

Telvent participated in a booth in the Spain pavilion managed by the SECARTYS' association, where its in-house technology system, the Tetra Telvent TetraNode, together with the Tetra terminals manufactured by Sepura, were exhibited and demonstrated. Both units provide the best and most complete solution for users with mission-critical radio communication needs, and operate in the most demanding environments.
